The Alabama A&M Women's Soccer team cruised to a 7-0 win against in-conference rival Alabama State on Friday, Oct. 10 in Montgomery, Ala. Belinda Kanda scored the first three goals of the game en route to the shutout. A&M hopes to become the first school in SWAC women's soccer history to successfully defend its title.
LeTisha Davis scored the final two goals to give the Bulldogs a 5-0 advantage before the half. In the second period, Victoria Hill and Celeste Roberts scored a goal each for the 7-0 final.
A&M is back in action at home on Sun. Oct. 12 against Murray State beginning at 1 p.m.
