Bessemer, Ala. - Alabama A&M didn't look like a top 10 nationally ranked team Friday in day one of the Southwestern Conference Tournament. The Bulldogs struggled to a 2-3 head-to-head record and will face Alabama State in the opening round of elimination play on Saturday. The winner of that match will move on to face Southern. A&M defeated Prairie View 799-722 and Alabama State 901-730, but fell to Texas Southern 882-877, Southern 749-832 and Jackson State 842-865. Nikki McClinton bowled a five-game series of 870 while Tiffany Clark had a five-game mark of 869.
