Bessemer, Ala. - Alabama A&M stayed alive Saturday in its effort to defend the Southwestern Athletic Conference title from last year. The Bulldogs fought back through the losers' bracket nearly all day to earn a berth in Sunday's championship match against Southern. The Bulldogs will need to defeat the Jaguars twice to again claim the conference title.
