Pine Bluff, Ark. - In a game that was eerily similar to the first contest in Huntsville, Alabama A&M went cold late in the game failing on six straight possessions after tying the score at 51 with just under four minutes to play. Arkansas-Pine Bluff answered that drought with a 7-0 run and forced the Bulldogs to play catch-up for the remainder of the Golden Lions' 70-65 victory.

Trant Simpson finished with 27 points. LaNorris Smith had 12, and Evan Hilton had 11.
