Prairie View, Tex. - Trant Simpson scored 29 points to lead Alabama A&M to its seventh win in nine games Saturday in a 72-62 victory at Prairie View A&M. The Bulldogs closed the game on a 9-0 run to move above .500 in the conference at 8-7. AAMU is now 11-14 overall heading to Monday's game at Texas Southern. Evan Hilton chipped in with 15 points, while Mickell Gladness had nine rebounds and seven points.
