Final Stats

Huntsville, Ala. - The Alabama A&M Women's Soccer team earned its first victory of the 2008 season by defeating Austin Peay 2-1 in its home opener. Freshman Celeste Roberts and junior LaTonya Davis scored a goal each for the Bulldogs.

 

A&M scored two goals in the first period for a 2-0 lead at the half. The Governors scored their first and only goal of the game midway through the second half, but the Bulldogs held on for the win.

 

The Bulldgs are back in action Fri. Sept. 5 at High Point. The game is set for 1 p.m.
