NORMAL ---- The gridiron excitement of a century of football at Alabama A&M University will be packed into an exciting pre-game television special scheduled Saturday, October 2, broadcast live from "The Hill" on Homecoming Day.

The exclusive pre-game special--"100 Years of Glory"--will air at 1:30 p.m. on Huntsville's WAAY-TV 31. The program will include historical information; interviews with coaches and AAMU President Andrew Hugine, Jr., pro football alums John Stallworth and Robert Mathis and more.

"We are so excited about the live pre-show," commented Wendy Kobler, AAMU's vice president for marketing, communications and advancement.

Following its initial airing, the show will be rebroadcast several times on AAMU's Channel 78.
