NORMAL -- Georgia State will host its annual Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the GSU Sports Arena on campus.

The Panthers (2-1) from the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) will play host to Rice from Conference USA, Mercer from the Atlantic Sun and Alabama A&M from the SWAC.

GSU and Alabama A&M will tip off the tournament at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon with Rice and Mercer playing the second game at approximately 4 p.m. On Sunday, the consolation game will tip at 2 with the championship game to follow around 4.

The Lady Bulldogs (1-2) are led by junior guard Whiquitta Tobar with 18.3 points per game.
