A&M Pulls Off 77-69 Road Win Over MVSU

The Alabama A&M men's basketball had four players in double figures as it pulled off a 77-69 road victory over Mississippi Valley State. Jonathan Inman scored 20 points in 23 minutes to lead all scorers for the game. Evan Hilton tallied 15 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field. Bo Amusa and Casey Cantey finished with 13 and 11 points, respectively. The Bulldogs are back in action on Sat. Feb. 13 when they host Alabama State beginning at 6 p.m.

As a team, A&M shot 49 percent from the field (25-for-51), while holding the Delta Devils to a 41.1 percent shooting clip (23-for-56). Bulldogs also scored 10 points off 12 total MVSU miscues. With the win, A&M improves to 8-11 overall and 5-6 in the SWAC, while the Devils drop to 5-6 in the league.

The Bulldogs will host Alabama State on Sat. The game is set to tip-off at 6 p.m.
