Bulldogs to play Michigan on Big Ten Network

ANN ARBOR – In the third of eight straight road contests for the Alabama A&M Bulldogs, first year head coach Willie Hayes and his squad will serve as the opponent versus the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on the Big Ten Network Saturday, December 17, at noon central time.

The Bulldogs bring in a 2-3 overall record with both wins coming at home versus Talladega and Oakwood College.  Senior Casey Cantey leads the team averaging 13.6 points per game and nine steals.  Sophomore Demarquelle Tabb averages 11.8 points and 8.2 boards per contest.  Tabb is currently tied for first in the SWAC in rebounds, field goal percentage and offensive boards.

The Wolverines are coming off a 63-50 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and bring in a three game win streak in their second of five straight home games.  Tim Hardaway Jr. paces three of Michigan players who are averaging double figures.  Hardaway is averaging 15.6 in 10 contests while Trey Burke has 12.5 and Evan Smotrycz with 10.3 points per contest.  Michigan is undefeated at home with a 5-0 record and 8-2 overall.
