Men’s Basketball set for Bulldog Holiday Hoops Celebration

NORMAL – The Bulldog men’s basketball team will host Missouri State University on Tuesday, December 18^th in their final non-conference contest of 2012.

A&M fell 71-46 to Vanderbilt University in their last outing. Junior Demarquelle Tabb leads the Bulldogs averaging 11.4 points a game. He also leads the team in rebounding with 78 averaging 9.8 a game.

Currently A&M is ranked fourth in scoring offense, fifth in scoring defense, fourth in free throw percentage, third in offensive rebounding, third in defensive rebounding, third in rebounding margin, fifth in steals and is currently in the standings during the non-conference season in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Downing is leading the team with 13.3 points per game while Christian Kirk is averaging 10.4 a contest. Drew Wilson leads the team in rebounds with 5.1 a game.

The contest has been deemed Bulldog Holiday Hoops Celebration. Special ticket prices have been set at $1.00 for general admission and $5 for reserved seating. The game is set for 7 p.m. in the T.M. Elmore gymnasium.
