NORMAL - Closing out 2012 and the non-conference portion of the schedule the Lady Bulldogs fell to the Governors of Austin Peay 67-54 on Saturday afternoon in Elmore.
Shundray Davis scored seven of her team leading 13 points in the second half while NaDra Robertson recorded 10 on the evening.
With the loss A&M slides to a nine game losing streak, and will look for its second win of the season at the start of SWAC play.
In the first half AAMU shot 45 percent (14-30) from the field while hitting 58 percent (10-17) from the charity stripe.
Austin Peay held a 38-29 lead at intermission.
