NORMAL - Alabama A&M women's basketball team will return the friendly confines of T. M. Elmore Gymnasium on Tuesday, November, 19, as they play host to the Auburn University Tigers.
The Maroon and White are 0-2 on the year, and are looking forward to their first victory of the season as well as an opportunity to play an SEC opponent.
Brittney and Alyssa Strickland lead the team with 13 and 12 points per game , while Jasmine Sanders leads in rebounding with seven per contest.
Auburn comes in with a 2-1 record. Tyrese Tanner leads the team averaging 19.6 points a game.
This is the third meeting between the two teams. The Tigers are the second major Division I program to play at Elmore Gym. Auburn played at A&M in 2008. Last year, Auburn defeated Alabama A&M 93-44.
