A&M To Host Oakwood on the Hardwood

NORMAL – With a record of 2-4 on the year head coach Willie Hayes and the men's basketball team will host cross town rival Oakwood College to a 7 p.m. contest on Thursday, December 5, in Elmore gymnasium.

On Tuesday, head coach Willie Hayes and the Bulldogs earned their first victory over Tennessee State 66-65, in Nashville and their first win on the road. 
 
Jeremy Crutcher led the team with a season high 19 points while Tyler Davis posted 12 with Demarquellle Tabb collecting 12 points and eight rebounds.   

Last year, A&M defeated Oakwood 103-77 in the friendly confines of Elmore.
 
A&M shot 51 percent from the field and 44% from three point line in the first half for season highs.  They also shot 50% in the second half.

Justin Colvin posted 19 points, Jeremy Crutcher tallied 12 assists and Justan Banks totaled 18 points and 14 boards. The 103 points scored is a first in triple digits for A&M since November 14, 2011 versus Talladega College.
