Regular Season Finale for Bulldog Basketball

NORMAL - The Alabama A&M basketball teams will host the Panthers of Prairie View A&M University, tonight, February 25, at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the T.M. Elmore Gymnasium.

The Lady Bulldogs are 9-16 overall and are currently in fifth place of the Southwestern Athletic Conference holding on to an 8-7 record.

Junior forward Jasmine Sanders leads the Maroon & White averaging 11.8 points per game. Sanders’ is also the leading rebounder on the team with 154 rebounds averaging 6.4 per contest.
A&M fell to Texas Southern, 72-56 in their most recent contest.

The Prairie View Lady Panthers brings in an 11-14 overall record and an 8-7 mark in the conference. Gianne Fleming leads the team averaging 10.7 points per game.

Sporting a 9-17overall record, the Bulldogs are eighth in the conference with a 5-10 record.
Brandon Ellis led the Maroon and White with 16 points and Jeremy Crutcher added 15, as the A&M fell to Texas Southern 64-62.

The 7-8 Panthers men’s squad is led by Jourdan DeMuynck with 14.2 points per game, and 6.3 rebounds per game.
