NORMAL - The Alabama A&M basketball teams will host the Golden Lions of the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, on Monday, February 4th, at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the T. M. Elmore Gymnasium.

The Lady Bulldogs are 6-14 overall and are currently in seventh place of the Southwestern Athletic Conference holding on to a 5-5 record.

Junior forward Jasmine Sanders leads the Maroon & White averaging 11.7 points per game. The Chester, South Carolina native is second on the team with 121 rebounds averaging 6.4 per contest. A&M fell to Mississippi Valley State, 51-45 in their most recent contest.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff brings in a 7-13 overall record and a 3-7 mark in the conference. Chigozianyi Okwumbua leads the team averaging 11.7 points per game.

The Bulldogs 8-13 overall and 4-6 in the league is led by juniors DemarquelleTabb, who scored 16 points and grabbed eleven rebounds and Brandon Ellis who posted 13 points, to lead the Maroon & White past Mississippi Valley 65-64 on Saturday night in their seventh home win of the year.

The (3-17, 8-2 SWAC) Lions men’s squad is led by Terrell Kennedy with 14.0 points per game, and 4.5 rebounds per game.
