Basketball opens at home hosting Oakwood University

NORMAL – Head coach Willie Hayes and the Bulldog basketball team will play for the first time in Elmore gymnasium this season when they host Oakwood University on Saturday, November 21, tipping off at 7 p.m.

A&M (0-2) is coming off a 66-46 loss at the hands of Ga. Tech on Tuesday. 

Point guard Rakiya Battle has led the Maroon & White in a pair of contests and is averaging eight points a game with four boards and 10 assists.  Justin Colvin is second on the teaming scoring and leads the team in three point attempts.

Oakwood is coming off an 85-41 defeat at the hands of Martin Methodist.  Tim Wright leads the Ambassadors with 10 points a game.
