Bulldogs come up short in season finale

Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- Alabama A&M saw its season end on a sour note Saturday in a 20-19 loss to the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
 
The Bulldogs had a chance to go ahead with 1:58 left in the game but Cesar Ramon-Diaz's 33-yard field goal attempt sailed left.
 
UAPB then took over on its own 20-yard-line and ran out the remaining time.
 
The Bulldogs couldn't overcome three interceptions and Golden Lions quarterback Benjamin Anderson, who rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another.
 
Tevin McKenzie scored on an eight yard pass from Jaymason Lee with 10:47 left in the game but the two-point try failed, giving the Bulldogs a 19-13 lead.
 
But Anderson, who rushed for 133 yards on 15 carries and was 15 of 20 passing for 225 yards and two interceptions, led the Golden Lions downfield and scored the winning touchdown with 6:31 to play.
 
Lee finished 21 of 46 passing for 265 yards and three interceptions. O'Darius Williams had 8 catches for 109 yards.
 
The Bulldogs finish 3-6 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference and 4-8 overall.
