Bulldogs Travel to Play Mississippi Valley


GREENWOOD – The Alabama A&M men's basketball team will visit Mississippi Valley State, on Monday, Feb. 10, at 7:30 p.m.
 
A&M is 8-12 overall, 5-5 in the SWAC, and is tied for third place in the SWAC standings. The Bulldogs defeated the Delta Devils 68-59 on Jan. 13 for their third conference win.
 
Jeremy Crutcher posted 20 points, eight steals, three rebounds and two assists, in the Bulldogs most recent loss to UAPB, on Saturday night.  Sophomore Tyler Davis added 14 points and a pair of assists.
 
Valley, who is 8-15 overall following a 75-70 loss to Alabama State Saturday evening, sits at ninth the SWAC standings at 4-6, having defeated Grambling and Jackson by an average of 8.5 points in its last two conference tilts.
 
James Currington led the Delta Devils with 16 points, while Anthony McDonald added 13.
 
A win Monday would give the Bulldogs a regular-season sweep of Valley.
