Women's Basketball to host Jackson State

NORMAL – The A&M women's basketball team will welcome the Lady Tigers of Jackson State University to Elmore gymnasium on Thursday, March 6, at 5:30 p.m.

Brittney Strickland leads the team averaging 16.5 points per game, while Jasmine Sanders totals 13.6 a contest and leads in rebounding with 7.3 per game.

Jackson State comes in with a 10-6 Southwestern Athletic Conference record. Ayanna Hardy-Fuller leads the Tigers averaging 11.0 points a game and 6.6 boards a contest. Alisa Ross follows her with 9.8 a points a game while Dominique Brothern averages 9.1.

Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased by logging online at www.aamutix.com. You can visit the ticket office located in front of Elmore from 10 am until 6 pm. Fans can also call 256-372-4700 for more ticket information.
