GAMEDAY: LADY BULLDOGS AT MVSU

ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Alabama A&M women's basketball team will take on Mississippi Valley Devilettes Saturday in Itta Bena, Miss. at 2 p.m. at Harrison HPER Complex.

The Lady Bulldogs enters Saturday afternoon's game with a record of 2-9 overall and 0-2 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. The Lady Bulldogs are coming off a 64-54 loss to Grambling State Wednesday evening in the T.M. Elmore Gym.

Last season, the Lady Bulldogs swept both games between the two teams, winning 68-79 in T.M. Elmore Gym and 74-84 in Itta Bena.

AAMU is led offensively by Jameica Cobb averaging 15.5 points per game. Ebony Johnson scores 7.5 per game for the Lady Bulldogs.
Cobb is Alabama A&M's team leader in rebounding, grabbing 7.2 boards per contest. Johnson averages 5.0 rebounds per game.

Hilary Williams leads AAMU in assists, dishing out 2.7 assists per game. Cobb averages 1.4 assists per contest.

Mississippi Valley comes into Saturday's game with a record of 4-8 overall and 1-0 in the SWAC. The Devilettes are coming off a 73-63 win over University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Monday evening.

Valley is led in scoring by Christina Reed, averaging 17.2 points per game. Ashley Beals Nichols scores 11.2 points per game.
Beals leads the team in rebounding, grabbing 7.5 boards per contest. Reed pulls down 5.6 rebounds per game.

Lauren Elliot is the team leader in assists, dishing out 2.3 assists per game. Reed averages 1.9 assists per game for Valley.
