QB Aqeel Glass honored by College Sports Madness

Bulldogs quarterback Aqeel Glass has been named the College Sports Madness SWAC Offensive Player of the Week.

College Sports Madness identifies the players who have made the greatest impact to their team from each conference and on a national basis each week.

Glass, a freshman, was 26 of 43 in passing for 291 yards in the Bulldogs' 27-14 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

He completed passes to 10 different players, including a 56-yard completion to Octayvious Miles.

The Bulldogs, who are in first place in the East Division at 2-0, are on the road next weekend when they travel to Baton Rouge, La., to face Southern University.
