Gameday: Lady Bulldogs visit Tennessee State

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Lady Bulldogs are on the road in the Music City today to take on Tennessee State.

Coming off a solid 72-56 win over Evansville of the Missouri Valley Conference, A&M visits the lady Tigers of the Ohio Valley Conference. Tipoff is 5:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: A&M hit the floor running last Wednesday in the win. Ashlyn Dotson scored 25 points - including a pair of three-pointers - and Jameica Cobb added 14 points with seven rebounds.

ABOUT TENNESSEE STATE: The Lady Tigers lost 79-75 in overtime to Memphis. TSU is led in scoring by redshirt junior Tia Wooten who scored 33 points and had 11 rebounds in the loss.

ALABAMA A&M vs. TENNESSEE STATE: The Lady Bulldogs hold a 3-1 series advantage. The teams split the last two contests, with TSU winning 59-54 at Elmore Gym on Dec. 14, 2008 and the Lady Bulldogs winning the last game 76-67 at TSU on Dec. 13, 2009.
