HUNTSVILLE--- Alabama A&M softball team was shut out by Western Kentucky University, 4-0, Thursday afternoon at the Lady Bulldog Field.

AAMU (7-16) lost its second consecutive game and managed three hits against the Hilltoppers, who led 2-0 after two innings before a two-run outburst in the top of the sixth inning to secure the win. Â
Jada Jackson held the Hilltoppers in check for the first five innings, allowing just two hits and two runs before the two-run sixth inning. Â

The Lady Bulldogs will open conference play on Friday, Mar. 17 at the Lady Bulldog Field as they host Texas Southern University. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
