HUNTSVILLE--- Alabama A&M softball team was shut out by Western Kentucky University, 4-0, Thursday afternoon at the Lady Bulldog Field.
 
AAMU (7-16) lost its second consecutive game and managed three hits against the Hilltoppers, who led 2-0 after two innings before a two-run outburst in the top of the sixth inning to secure the win.  

Jada Jackson held the Hilltoppers in check for the first five innings, allowing just two hits and two runs before the two-run sixth inning.  
 
Jackson finished allowing three hits and walking just five Hilltoppers in the loss.  Freshmen Danielle Hansell, Classmate Madi Pozzi and Junior Tiana Sanders each had one of the Lady Bulldogs' three hits on the afternoon.
 
The Lady Bulldogs will open conference play on Friday, Mar. 17 at the Lady Bulldog Field as they host Texas Southern University. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
