Men's Basketball set to host UAB

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A long three-week road swing has come to an end.

Now, for the first time this season, the Alabama A&M men's basketball team is coming home to play in Huntsville.

Alabama A&M hosts UAB Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Von Braun Center.

Advance tickets for the game can be purchased at the Alabama A&M ticket office, located at Louis Crews Stadium, or by visiting www.aamutix.com.

Alabama A&M Student Activities also offering bus trips to the VBC. Students interested in participating must contact program coordinator Gary Edwards at Gary.Edwards@aamu.edu by the end of business hours on Monday.

UAB (4-2) is coming off a 68-58 win against Canisius. Zack Bryant leads the Blazers with 14 points per game.

Alabama A&M (0-6) is searching for its first win, but the Bulldogs are coming off a tough six-game road swing that has carried the team across the country. Jalen Reeder leads Alabama A&M with 12.5 points per game, while Andre Kennedy is averaging 11.2 points per game.
