BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama A&M football's Aqeel Glass was selected as the Southwestern Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The league honor is the third of Glass's career.

• The junior quarterback passed for 377 yards and four touchdowns in overtime victory over Texas Southern on Saturday.
• Completed 22/38 passes on the game, including a season long 73-yard pass.
• His 1,837 passing yards on the season is currently sixth in the nation in the Football Championship Subdivision
• Glass's 18 touchdown passes ranks third among all FCS quarterbacks

 
The Bulldogs return to the playing field on Saturday when the team travels to Louisiana to take on SWAC opponent Grambling. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium.
