Lee-Barbadillo blasts 3 homers as AAMU Softball sweeps Tuskegee

TUSKEGEE, Ala. — Tamia Lee-Barbadillo blasted three homers as Alabama A&M swept a pair of games from Tuskegee Tuesday afternoon in non-conference softball games.

Alabama A&M won Game 1 of the doubleheader 5-2, and the Bulldogs topped Tuskegee 9-1 in the nightcap.

Lee-Barbadillo had a huge day at the plate. In Game 1, she hit a solo homer, and in the second game, she hit two homers while driving in four runs.

In Game 1, Lauren Hayden got the pitching win, holding Tuskegee to eight hits while striking out six in the complete game.

Alabama A&M (5-5) rallied for four runs in the fourth inning to take the lead for good.

Danielle Hansell drove in a run on a hit, while Alexis Bates drove in a run on two hits.

In Game 2, Alabama A&M built a 5-1 lead after three innings and never looked back.

Hansell got the pitching win, holding Tuskegee to six hits in the complete game.

Lee-Barbadillo hit a pair of homers, driving in four runs on four hits, while Hansell hit a homer.
