Missouri rallies past AAMU baseball

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Connor Brumfield drove in four runs as Missouri rallied past Alabama A&M 13-5 Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference baseball game.

Playing its second Southeastern Conference opponent of the season, Alabama A&M was competitive for most of the afternoon, taking a 4-3 lead in the fifth inning on a two-RBI double from Daniel Tart.

But, for Alabama A&M (0-9), things came unraveled in the middle innings, with Missouri pushing three across in the bottom of the fifth, and four more in the sixth.

Tart finished with two RBIs on two hits, while Justin Lott had two hits. Jonathan Smith II had a hit and two RBIs.

Alabama A&M hosts Alcorn State on Friday to open a three-game SWAC series.
