Grambling tops Alabama A&M men's basketball in season finale

RUSTON, La. __ Prince Moss led Grambling with 14 points and seven rebounds as the Tigers topped Alabama A&M 66-58 Saturday night in their Southwestern Athletic Conference men's basketball season finale. 
 
Grambling (16-15, 10-8 in SWAC) came out firing to celebrate senior night, and while Alabama A&M (5-27, 4-14 in SWAC) kept up the pace early, a four minute drought had the Bulldogs headed into the locker room trailing 30-20 at the half. 
 
During the second half, the Bulldogs pulled within two points on a three pointer by Walter Jones Jr. with 12 minutes to play, however Grambling regrouped and regained their double-digit lead before a late game three by Brandon Miller set the final score at 66-58.
 
In addition to Moss, DeVante Jackson added 14 points with five rebounds for the Tigers.
 
Andre Kennedy led Alabama A&M with 21 points and five rebounds in his final game for the Bulldogs, while Gerron Scissum added 10 points.
