Baseball drops season-opener at Bethune-Cookman

DAYTONA, Fla.—Chase Debonis drove in a pair of runs sparking a rally that sent Bethune-Cookman past Alabama A&M 8-0 Friday night in both team's baseball season-opener.
 
Aided by Debronis' double, Bethune-Cookman (1-0) scored five runs in the bottom of the third, and then added three in the fifth inning.
 
Dillon Roop led Alabama A&M with two hits, while Trevor Berkemeyer added a hit for the Bulldogs.
