HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M Athletics has announced that the women's basketball program's game at Nicholls State scheduled for Wednesday, December 29 has been canceled as a result of COVID-19 protocols within the program.
 
The decision to cancel the game aligns with both Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and Alabama A&M COVID-19 procedures, both of which are driven by putting the health and welfare of the program's student-athletes and staff above all else.
 
With the cancellation, the Bulldogs close out the 2021 portion of the schedule and are next slated to travel to Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday, January 3 for their SWAC opener.
