HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M Athletics has announced the cancellation of the football season opener against defending Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) champion Alcorn State, slated for Saturday, February 27, as a result of the Braves choosing to opt out of the Spring 2021 season.
 
That game was also originally slated to be the home opener at Louis Crews Stadium for the Bulldogs but that will now fall to Saturday, March 27 against Grambling.
 
With the change, A&M is now currently scheduled to open the Spring 2021 campaign on the road at Mississippi Valley State on Saturday, March 6.
