MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama A&M (1-4, 0-0 SWAC) men's tennis delivered a straight sets 7-0 victory against Mississippi Valley State (0-9, 0-3 SWAC) in an NCAA Division I men's tennis match on Thursday, March 10. Both doubles that were completed were by 6-0 scores and all six singles matches were 6-0, 6-0.

Freshman
Divesh Gahlot (Haryana, India) and junior Cheng Chang (Koahsiung, Taiwan) then secured the doubles point with a decision against Omar Emmons and Kevon Williams at the No. 2 spot. Additionally, junior
German Ruiz Crespo (Mollina, Spain) and
Freddie Lawrence were leading Malik Ramsey and James Chandler 5-0 at No. 3 when the Bulldogs took the point.
A&M wasted no time in continuing their dominance during the singles as Arana Rios, Gahlot and Lawrence took the first three matches at No. 1, No. 4, No.5, respectively, to lock up the victory.
Matis Torres Ramis, sophomore
Natiphat Mulada (Korat, Thailand) and Ntcha would close out 7-0 victory with straight set wins at the sixth spot, No. 3 and second position, respectively.
Alabama A&M will return to the court on Saturday, March 12 to take on Prairie View in Montgomery, Alabama. First serve is set for 9 a.m.
