AUBURN, Ala. – Alabama A&M (2-12, 2-3 SWAC) fell by a 7-0 score at Auburn (17-5, 5-3 SEC) in an NCAA Division I men's tennis match on Sunday, April 3.
 
The Tigers took the early lead in doubles as Freddie Lawrence and junior German Ruiz Crespo (Mollina, Spain) were defeated by Maxwell Giddens and Josh Raab 6-1 at No. 3 before Raul Dobai and Jackson Ross delivered a 6-2 decision over senior Rodrigo Arana Rios (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico) and junior Cheng Chang (Koahsiung, Taiwan) at No. 2.
 
After the doubles portion, Auburn wasted no time during singles as freshman Divesh Gahlot (Haryana, India) fell 6-1, 6-1 to Ross at No. 3 and Chang was defeated 6-0, 6-2 by Giddens at No. 6. Arana Rios fell 6-3, 6-1 to Jan Galka at No. 1 while Lawrence was defeated 6-3, 6-2 by Raab at No. 5. Spencer Gray delivered a 6-1, 6-4 decision against Matis Torres Ramis at No. 2. and sophomore Natiphat Mulada (Korat, Thailand) rallied before falling 6-0, 7-6 against Will Nolan at No. 2.
 
Alabama A&M will return to the court on Friday, April 8 as they head to Middle Tennessee. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m. at the Adams Tennis Complex.
