HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M enters the final home stand of the season as they host Bethune-Cookman in Southwestern Athletic (SWAC) men's action on Saturday evening inside the Event Center, with tip-off slated for 5 p.m.
The Bulldogs (11-15, 7-6 SWAC) enter the weekend in the top half of the SWAC standings and have won two straight road games, defeating Mississippi Valley, 70-68, last Saturday and Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 75-72, on Monday night.

Garrett Hicks (Madison, Ala.) continues to lead the team offensively at 13.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, followed by fellow guards
Dailin Smith (Colorado Springs, Co.) and
Messiah Thompson (Atlanta, Ga.) who score 10.8 and 10.4 points per game respectively. Thompson was key in both games last week, hitting the game-winning shot in overtime against the Delta Devils before scoring a team-high 24 points in the win over the Golden Lions.
Bethune-Cookman (9-17, 5-8 SWAC) comes into the matchup on a three-game losing streak after dropping games at Texas Southern (Feb. 6), along with home contests to Alcorn State (Feb. 11) and Jackson State (Feb. 13). The Wildcats have four double figure scorers so far, led by Marcus Garrett at 14.4 points and Zion Harmon at 13.8 points per contest. Meanwhile, Kevin Davis and Joe French are also in the double figure category at 10.4 and 10.3 points per game respectively.
