HUNTSVILLE, Ala. __ The Alabama A&M women's basketball team will begin play their final two road games of the regular season starting this weekend, as they travel for a matchup on Thursday against Grambling State, set for a 5 p.m. tip inside the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

The Bulldogs (13-13, 11-5 SWAC) come into the weekend third in the conference standings after dropping their last contest in a rivalry matchup against Alabama State Saturday in Montgomery.
Amani Free (Clay, N.Y.) and
Toni Grace (Fishers, Ind.) continue to carry the scoring load on the year, averaging 12 and 10.9 points per game, good for 11th and 12th in the conference.

Alabama A&M is looking to complete the sweep of the season series after defeating the Tigers 57-53 in Huntsville on February 6. Three Bulldogs finished in double figures in the contest, led by
Amiah Simmons (Osawatomie, Kan.) with 14, followed by Free and Grace with 13 and 12 points respectively.

Grambling enters the final weekend of the regular season at 9-18 overall, coming off road wins against Florida A&M, 61-46, on February 25 and 59-52 over Bethune-Cookman on February 27. The Tigers are among the top half of the league in defensive points per game, allowing 63.0 per contest, fourth in the SWAC.
