HUNTSVILLE, AL – Alabama A&M University Volleyball has announced its 2023 schedule which includes 30 matches overall, 6 of which will be at home in Elmore Gym and 24 on the road.
 
Alabama A&M University will travel East opening weekend to Asheville, North Carolina, UNC Asheville, Aug. 25-27, to face University of Maryland- Eastern Shores, North Carolina Central University, and host University of North Carolina Asheville, Aug 25-26.
 
The Bulldogs will travel South to the City of New Orleans for week two of the Green Wave Classic featuring three contests versus the University of Alabama, Sam Houston University, and host Tulane University Sept 1-3.
The Bulldogs will follow up with a week three trip to Carbondale, IL., where the Bulldogs will participate in the Saluki Bash Invitational featuring three contests versus Eastern Illinois University, Arkansas State University, and host Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Sept. 8-9.
Week Four the Bulldogs will travel to Jacksonville, FL to the UNF Invitational featuring contests versus the University of South Florida, the University of South Carolina Upstate, and the host University of North Florida.
The schedule also consists of two mid-week non-conference matches, one versus Cross State Rival Foe University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama on Sept 12 and the Bulldogs will host The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on Oct. 3.

SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference) action begins the weekend of Sept. 22-23 when the Bulldogs travel to Bethune Cookman University and Florida A&M University 
Alabama A&M road league matches consist of two conference clusters. The first cluster was hosted by the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff on Oct 8-9 versus host University of Arkansas Pine Bluff, Grambling State University, and Alcorn state University. The second cluster was hosted by Jackson State University on Oct 29-30 versus Texas Southern University, Southern University, and Prairie View State University.
The other road league matches include Jackson State University and Mississippi Valley State University on Oct 13-15 and Alabama State University on Nov. 3.

The five home league matches include Alabama State University on Sept. 29 and Bethune Cookman University and Florida A&M University on Oct. 20-21, Jackson State University and Mississippi Valley State University on Nov. 10-12.
