THE HILL | The Alabama A&M women's basketball team (1-1) return to the AAMU Event Center as they welcome the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers on Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. with live streaming through Bulldog All-Access.  

The Bulldogs look to add another to the win column after earning their first road victory against Eastern Michigan over the weekend. The contests saw three Bulldogs in double figures, with Kourtney Rittenberry and Kalia Walker leading the way with 14 points apiece, while Lauryn Pendleton added 13 of her own.  Alisha Wilson paced AAMU defense with 10 rebounds and three steals, while Mo Davenport added two blocks. 

UAB preps for their first road battle after defeating West Alabama 78-47 in their home opener. The contest saw four Blazers in double figures, including two double-doubles, paced by sophomore Jade Weathersby, who scored 20 points and added 12 boards. Picking up the other double-double was graduate transfer Rayne Tucker, who recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds. 

The Bulldogs not only search for their first home win, but also their first win against UAB, who leads 9-0 in the all-time series with the Bulldogs. AAMU and UAB faced off last season, with the Bulldogs shy just seven points of the victory, the closest margin between the two in over 15 years.
