THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University men's basketball team opens the 2024-25 campaign on Thursday night as the Bulldogs welcome Oakwood to the AAMU Event Center. Tip-off against the Ambassadors is set for 5:30 p.m.

Alabama A&M has a busy slate during the opening month of the season, with seven of its nine games being played at home. The Bulldogs open with Oakwood, followed by contests with Arkansas Baptist (Nov. 11) and Fisk (Nov. 13), before going on the road for back-to-back games for the only time in the first month.

"We love playing in front of our home fans," Alabama A&M head coach
Otis Hughley Jr. said. "We want to pack the house and we've got a lot of exciting basketball at home to begin the season."

The Bulldogs will travel just twice in the opening month, visiting Tennessee State (Nov. 16) and Georgia (Nov. 19), before coming home for four straight home games to wrap up the month.

Alabama A&M hosts the Bulldog Bash, an MTE Tournament, Nov. 22-23 and will face South Carolina State and Coastal Carolina before concluding November against IUPUI (Nov. 25) and Lipscomb (Nov. 30).

The Bulldogs return 11 players from that went 12-23 overall and 9-9 in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play and reached the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament semifinals. Alabama A&M also brings back the SWAC Freshman of the Year

Tip-off for Thursday's game is set for 5:30 p.m., as the Alabama A&M women's basketball team plays host to No. 24 Alabama at 7:30 p.m. at the AAMU Event Center. Both games will be streamed on Bulldogs All-Access.
