Arenza Davis and defensive back
Delvon Gulley were selected on Tuesday to the Third Annual FCS Football Central Freshman All-American Team.
The FCS Football Central recognized 69 players from 52 programs to be named to the Freshman All-American Team.
Davis played in 10 games for the Bulldogs, registering 21 total tackles, including 12 solo stops on the defensive line. He added 7.5 tackles for loss, with 1.0 sacks. The Mobile, Ala. native as tallied seven quarterback hurries, one pass breakup and one forced fumble.
Gulley, a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Second-Team selection, appeared in 11 games for AAMU and finished ninth in total tackles (29), with 19 solo stops. He had a half of a tackle for a loss of 1 yard. The Saraland, Ala. native added four pass breakups and tied a team-high in interceptions with three. In addition, Gulley ranked seventh in the conference in interceptions per game.
