2024 Guide to the Annual Spring Jamboree

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Alabama A&M University Department of Athletics will hold a Spring Jamboree on Saturday, with several events on campus, including the annual Maroon & White Spring Game at 4 p.m. at Louis Crews Stadium.

The scrimmage is free and open to the public, as the game will conclude a bevy of activities during Student-Athlete Appreciation Day.

“Get ready for an action-packed day at Alabama A&M University's 2024 Jamboree! It's going to be the ultimate showcase of Bulldog athletics, and we invite everyone to come out and experience the excitement firsthand,” Alabama A&M Director of Athletics, Dr. Paul A. Bryant, said. "Plus, don't miss the opportunity to secure your spot with the launch of our drive for 5500 season tickets, available for purchase onsite during the Jamboree. Mark your calendars and join us for a day filled with sportsmanship, camaraderie, and Bulldog pride!"

The Bulldog coaching staff will simulate a real game as much as possible, letting players from both sides battle it out for four quarters and using regulation rules and scoring methods. Dray the Drummer (Dray LaBorde) will be the host for the annual spring game and will bring the energy to promote the Maroon & White game, along with season tickets, which will be available to purchase at the AAMU Ticket Office on Saturday.

The day begins at 12 p.m. with a doubleheader as the Bulldog softball team plays host to Mississippi Valley State. The second game is slated to begin at 2 p.m.

Meanwhile at the Bulldog Baseball Field, Alabama A&M will play a single game against Mississippi Valley State, beginning at 2 p.m.

In addition to the numerous athletic events, an open house will be held at the AAMU Event Center, beginning at 9 a.m. The open house includes an onsite acceptance, campus tours and scholarship information. There will be AAMU Band and Choir auditions and will include lunch for attendees.

The Third Annual Cruising at Crews Car & Bike Show starts at 11 a.m. at the AAMU Event Center parking lot. Judging begins at 1 p.m., with awards presentations set for 5 p.m.

Fans unable to attend the Maroon and White Spring Game can watch the action live on Bulldogs All-Access, with Ted Dixie on the call.
