Travaunta Abner earned another postseason award as he received HBCU College Football All-American Honors by BOXTOROW on Wednesday.
Abner, a First Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) selection, was a huge asset to the Bulldogs' passing game this season, catching 35 passes for 380 yards, along with three touchdowns.
He averaged 10.9 yards per catch and 38.0 yards per game. In addition, the Lanett, Ala. native 104 receiving yards, including a game-sealing 21-yarder in a 23-21 victory over Tennessee State. Abner also recorded a season-high nine catches for 102 yards at Bethune-Cookman.
