Inclement Weather Halts Bowling Invitational

THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University bowling team was set to compete at the James Brown Invitational hosted by Morgan State University but are unable to attend due to inclement travel weather conditions.

The tournament, scheduled to take place Friday through Sunday at Ft. Meade Lanes in Baltimore, is to be attended by Bryant University, Coppin State, Fayetteville State, Felician University, Howard University, Medaille College, Maryand Eastern Shore, #24 Morgan State, #9 Mount Saint Mary's, North Carolina A&T and Saint Francis University.

The Bulldogs, coming off a fourth-place finish at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) East Round-Up, are set to compete in the Stallings Classic at the end of the month at the AMF All-Star lanes in Greensboro, North Carolina. Alabama A&M finished the Round-Up with an 18-10 record over the weekend. The Bulldogs were paced by Rose Ugbinada and Tamyra Long's 2,561 and 2,603 total over the Round-up, which landed them both on the All-SWAC post season second team.
