THE HILL | Alabama A&M University revealed the 2026 football schedule on Friday. The 12-game schedule features six home games for the first time since 2003, three away games and three classic games.
 
Alabama A&M, which went 4-8 overall last season and 1-7 in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play, begins the 2026 season in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Atlanta, Ga., as the Bulldogs will face Howard. The game marks just the second time AAMU will be playing in the annual event and the first time since 2014. Also, the Bulldogs will be meeting the Bisons for the second time in program history.
 
One week later, Alabama A&M will have its home opener – the first of three straight home games - in the 16^th Annual Louis Crews Classic during Labor Day weekend as Miles College comes to town for a non-conference game. The Bulldogs continue their rivalry in The Legacy Series against Tennessee State a week later, before closing out the homestand against Bowie State on Sept. 19.
 
The Maroon and White will begin SWAC play to close out the month of September with a trip to Tallahassee, Fla. to take on Florida A&M, followed by the annual showdown in Mobile, Ala., one week later with the Gulf Coast Challenge against Jackson State at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
 
Back-to-back home games await the Bulldogs before the showdown at the Magic City Classic in Birmingham. Alabama A&M will play host to Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 10, followed by the 2026 homecoming game (Oct. 17) as the Bulldogs welcome Grambling State to Louis Crews Stadium.
 
After an open week, the Bulldogs play their final neutral-site game in the Amazon Magic City Classic, presented by Coca-Cola, against rival Alabama State inside Legion Field.
 
Alabama A&M begins its final stretch (Nov. 7) with a trip to Prairie View A&M, the defending SWAC Champions, before returning to Louis Crews Stadium to conclude its home campaign (Nov. 14) against Texas Southern.

 The Bulldogs will wrap up their 2026 season on the road as Alabama A&M travels to Itta Bena, Miss. to visit Mississippi Valley State.
