BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Vicente Rodriguez currently sits in third place as the Alabama A&M University men's golf team concluded the second round of the 2026 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday afternoon at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley.
 
Rodriguez has carded a 1-over par 145 after shooting a second-round 74. His second round consisted of birdies on No. 6 and No. 7, while recording four bogeys on the back nine. Rodriguez is three strokes back of leader Yashal Shah (142), of Texas Southern, and two strokes behind Arkansas-Pine Bluff's Jonathan Baumann (143).
 
Samuel Boddie entered the day tied for second and dropped two spots to fourth with UAPB's Jules De Reu at 146. Boddie's second round included three birdies, three bogies and a double-bogey.
 
Lukas Lange jumped six spots and is tied for 17^th, with a 151. He shot 3 over during the round, posting three birdies, four bogeys and a double-bogey.
 
Kourey Patterson fell four spots and is tied for 31^st, with a 157, and James Fujita rounds out the individual scoring with a 159.
 
Alabama A&M dropped two spots after Monday's opening round and is fifth at 23-over par 599. Arkansas-Pine Bluff leads the field with a 586, followed by Texas Southern (590), Florida A&M (591) and Alabama State (596). Prairie View A&M (600), Jackson State (623) and Southern (630) round out the eight-team field.
