Alabama A&M Tennis and Bowling Teams Honored at City Hall

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's bowling and men's tennis team will be honored by the Huntsville City Council on Thursday evening in recognition of their outstanding 2025–26 season.

The Bulldogs, led by head coaches James Moore and Willis Mbandi, will be honored during the City Council meeting at Huntsville City Hall at 5:30 p.m.

Alabama A&M is coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history across both teams. The men's tennis team captured the Southwestern Athletic Conference regular-season championship, while the women's bowling team earned a well-deserved victory at the conference tournament in March and went on to compete in the NCAA tournament.

The recognition celebrates both team's competitive success, leadership, and representation of Alabama A&M University and the Huntsville community throughout the season.
