ATHENS, Ga. | Alabama A&M University junior golfer Vincent Rodriguez shot even through the opening nine holes during Tuesday's second round of the 2026 NCAA Athens Regional, but struggled down the stretch to shoot a 76 at the University of Georgia Golf Course.

Rodriguez, who is tied for 63
rd with a 148, posted two birdies and two bogeys on the front nine to record a 35. Unlike the opening round, Rodriguez found himself 1 under after a birdie at No. 2, but went back to even par with a bogey at No. 5. He immediately responded with a birdie at No. 6, before closing the first nine holes with a bogey at No. 9.

The El Dorado Hills, Calif. native was even at the turn, but had trouble on the back nine as he recorded bogeys in five of the final six holes to card a 5-over par 76.

Vanderbilt's Will Harman is the leader in the clubhouse at 12-under par 130. Louisiana's Malan Potgieter is just one stroke back at 11 under, while Josiah Gilbert, of Auburn, sits at 9 under.

Rodriguez will conclude the 2026 NCAA Athens Regional on Wednesday from the University of Georgia Golf Course.
