AAMU Announces 2026-27 Women’s Bowling Schedule

THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University women's bowling team will compete in 12 tournaments across seven states during the 2026-27 season, including a pair of Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) regional events and the SWAC Championships.

The Bulldogs, the defending SWAC women's bowling tournament champions, open the campaign Oct. 9-11 at the Colonial Classic in Harahan, Louisiana, beginning a challenging fall slate that features five tournaments before the calendar turns to 2027.

"We're excited about the schedule we've put together and the opportunities it will give our team to compete against some outstanding programs throughout the country," Alabama A&M head coach James Moore said. "Every tournament will challenge us in a different way and help prepare us for what we want to accomplish in SWAC competition. Our goal is to continue improving each time we take the lanes, put ourselves in position to compete for a conference championship and represent Alabama A&M at the highest level."

Following the season opener, Alabama A&M travels to Rockford, Illinois, for the Warhawk Classic, Oct. 23-25, before closing out October and opening November at the Destination Orlando Invitational, Oct. 30-Nov. 1, in Orlando, Florida.

The Bulldogs continue their fall schedule at the Bulldog Classic, Nov. 6-8, in San Antonio, Texas, before wrapping up the fall portion of the campaign at the Bearcat Invitational, Nov. 13-15, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Alabama A&M returns to competition Jan. 15-17 at the SWAC West Regional in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, marking the Bulldogs' first conference competition of the season. One week later, AAMU heads to Arlington, Texas, for the PVAMU Invitational, Jan. 22-24.

February features four consecutive weekends of competition, beginning with the SWAC East Regional, Feb. 5-7, in Montgomery, Alabama. The Bulldogs return to Baton Rouge for the TNBA Open, Feb. 12-14, before traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina, for the Stallings Invitational, Feb. 26-28.

The regular season concludes March 5-7 when Alabama A&M competes in the Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Postseason competition begins March 19-21 as the Bulldogs travel to Arlington, Texas, for the SWAC Championships.
