Played high school basketball at Grayson High School, where he was a two-time All-State performer for the Rams ... The guard was named Dekalb County Player of the Year after averaging 18.2 points and two steals on 60 percent shooting from the field as a junior ... As a senior, he put up 15.2 points, 4.0 assists and 3.1 steals in route to earning All Region Honors ... After graduating from Grayson, Tatum attended Bull City Prep in Durham, North Carolina where he averaged 17 points, 7.0 assists and 3.3 steals per during his postgraduate season.
