REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2019):
Returning starter at tight end … only returner at the position in the conference with multiple touchdown receptions … Named 2nd team All-SWAC (SWAC Coaches/SIDs) and 2nd team All-SWAC (Phil Steele) … finished the season with 275 yards and four touchdowns on 24 receptions. Morehouse: Recorded two receptions for 55 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown in the season opener. Arkansas-Pine Bluff: Caught three passes for 37 yards on the day. North Alabama: Accounted for seven yards on two catches against the Lions. Central State: Caught second touchdown of the season on a 27-yard catch from Aqeel Glass … finished the day with two catches and 35 yards against the Marauders. Texas Southern: Hauled in six catches for 87 yards … scored on a 20-yard touchdown in the second quarter on a pass from Aqeel Glass. Grambling: Caught two passes for ten yards on the day. Alabama State: Caught one pass for three yards. Alcorn: Gained 19 yards on three yards against the Braves on the afternoon. UNA: Recorded two catches for 12 yards against the Lions. Cincinnati: Caught one pass for no gain. Southern: Finished with two catches for 48 yards, including a season-long 36-yard touchdown reception. Jackson State: Recorded one catch for negative yardage.
